There are numerous ways to explore the seaside resort and the area without a car. Rental bikes and e-scooters will get you from A to B in a dynamic and comfortable way. The local bus "Lümo" runs upon request. It can simply be ordered and will take you directly to your destination. By the way: there is also a tram in Travemünde. If you want to travel to Travemünde on your own boat, you'll find a great selection of convenient marinas, moorings and jetties in the harbour. Visitors' boats are very welcome!

The Hafenhaus can only be reached by bus number 36. The former lines 30, 34 and 40 no longer serve the passenger terminal.
If you are coming from Hamburg, we recommend that you take the regional express train RE8 to Lübeck-Travemünde Skandinavienkai station. From there you can change at the stop "Rönnauer Weg" to the bus line 36 direction "Roter Hahn" and get off at the stop "Skandinavienkai Terminal".
Please note that bus line 36 only runs every 60 minutes between 06:37 (departure from Lübeck-Travemünde Skandinavienkai station, Rönnauer Weg stop) and 22:11 (departure from Skandinavienkai Terminal).
