This is where promenade meets Kurstrand. The broad steps of the Strandterrassen lead down to the fine sand on Travemünde’s Baltic Sea beach and they are a popular meeting point for taking a small rest. From here, you have a wonderful view of the green-and-white stripes of the beacon at the end of the Nordermole jetty. And the Strandterrassen are also at the heart of the action when things turn lively in Travemünde and numerous events brighten up the resort.
