Dog beaches in Travemünde
In Travemünde, the two dog beaches invite you during the bathing season from May 15 to September 14. September at the Brodtner shore (area Söhrmanndamm, the first 100 m behind the former Mövenstein bathing establishment) and on the peninsula Priwall (approximately between the third beach access and the beach basket zone) invite you to swim, dig and play together.

The Travemünde dog bathing jetty
A specially equipped dog bathing jetty on the Brodtener steep shore ensures animal bathing pleasure, because the jetty leads the four-legged bathers safely over the boulders piled up as breakwaters.

Just like at the "non-dog beach", a beach usage fee per person is charged at the dog beach on Priwall during the season.
The beach on Brodtener Ufer is generally free of charge.

The best time to travel with your dog in Travemünde on the Baltic Sea
As an ideal time to travel by the sea for dog owners, the early and late season is particularly recommended. Then all beaches in Travemünde and on the Priwall are given free for dogs.

From 1.4. to 30.09. dogs are unfortunately not allowed on the spa beaches. Containers for excrement bags are placed on the promenade.
